Accreditation Process

All educational institutions are required to download and fill our accreditation forms, review, and sign the attached documents as part of the accrediation process. Our Eligibility Standards, Educational Integrity Policy, Statement of Faith, and Doctrinal Standards, are to ensure your institution meets the basic requirements. Start Your Accreditation Review

Download and complete all required ABBCU accreditation forms and upload the supporting documents and fees for your application request.

Review of Elegibility

Use your access code to submit your completed Application Packet for eligibility review. Our Evaluation Team will determine whether your institution meets ABBCU's accreditation requirements.

Preliminary Document Review

Before a final decision , we preform a final verification to ensure your application is complete and accurate.

Once all required documents and fees have been received, your institution will be issued a access code to begin the Application Packet.

Phase 1: Preliminary Document Review

  • Validate competition of Application Packet,   Self- Assessment & documents

  • Request clarification

  • or additional information if needed

  • Email confirmation of receipt of all information.

Phase 2: Review of Submitted Applications

 

  •  Comprehensive evaluation of institutional compliance

  • Review of policies

  • & supporting documentation

  • Final accrediation recommendation

Standard Review Timeline: Up to 90 days from the date your institution receives its official confirmation code to the final notification

Expedited Accreditation Review(Up to 30 Days): Submit the Expedited Review Request From, $150 fee, and your complete Application Packet,. Your application will be reviewed by our Special Review Team.

Verify all required documents have been received

Confirm revisions or clarification are addressed

Ensure application is complete and ready for determination

Notify your institution of the final decision

Ensure all signatures and institutional information are accruate.

Respond promptly to any request for additional information.

Keep copies of all submitted material for your records.
